Getting Started

Welcome to WhatsSpot! This guide will help you connect your first WhatsApp device and start messaging in minutes.

Prerequisites​

  • A valid WhatsApp or WhatsApp Business account on your mobile phone.
  • A stable internet connection for your phone.
  • A WhatsSpot account (Sign Up Here).

Step 1: Create your Account​

  1. Go to WhatsSpot Dashboard.
  2. Enter your Mobile Number.
  3. You will receive a One-Time Password (OTP) via SMS/WhatsApp.
  4. Enter the OTP to verify your account and log in.
  5. No password required! You are now ready to use WhatsSpot.

Step 2: Connect your Device​

To send and receive messages, you need to link your WhatsApp account to WhatsSpot via QR code, just like WhatsApp Web.

  1. Log in to your WhatsSpot Dashboard.
  2. Navigate to Devices in the sidebar.
  3. Click the Add Device (+) button.
  4. Enter a nickname for this session (e.g., "My Business Phone") and your phone number.
  5. Click Save. A new device card will appear with a QR code.
  6. Open WhatsApp on your phone:
    • Android: Tap ⋮ > Linked devices > Link a device.
    • iOS: Go to Settings > Linked Devices > Link a Device.
  7. Scan the QR code displayed on your dashboard.

🎉 Success! Your device status should turn Green (Connected).

Step 3: Send your First Message​

  1. Go to Messages or the Send Message tool in the dashboard.
  2. Select your newly connected device.
  3. Enter a recipient phone number (including country code).
  4. Type "Hello from WhatsSpot!" and hit Send.
