Getting Started
Welcome to WhatsSpot! This guide will help you connect your first WhatsApp device and start messaging in minutes.
Prerequisites
- A valid WhatsApp or WhatsApp Business account on your mobile phone.
- A stable internet connection for your phone.
- A WhatsSpot account (Sign Up Here).
Step 1: Create your Account
- Go to WhatsSpot Dashboard.
- Enter your Mobile Number.
- You will receive a One-Time Password (OTP) via SMS/WhatsApp.
- Enter the OTP to verify your account and log in.
- No password required! You are now ready to use WhatsSpot.
Step 2: Connect your Device
To send and receive messages, you need to link your WhatsApp account to WhatsSpot via QR code, just like WhatsApp Web.
- Log in to your WhatsSpot Dashboard.
- Navigate to Devices in the sidebar.
- Click the Add Device (+) button.
- Enter a nickname for this session (e.g., "My Business Phone") and your phone number.
- Click Save. A new device card will appear with a QR code.
- Open WhatsApp on your phone:
- Android: Tap ⋮ > Linked devices > Link a device.
- iOS: Go to Settings > Linked Devices > Link a Device.
- Scan the QR code displayed on your dashboard.
🎉 Success! Your device status should turn Green (Connected).
Step 3: Send your First Message
- Go to Messages or the Send Message tool in the dashboard.
- Select your newly connected device.
- Enter a recipient phone number (including country code).
- Type "Hello from WhatsSpot!" and hit Send.
